Just as we were leaving, I think that Schroder really wants to go.
#2 is our camp site in Gouldings, UT.
We got on the road about 9:00am and made it all the way to Gouldings, Utah by about 2:00pm. It was a pretty easy drive and we only had to turn around once to find the camping place that was in the AAA book. It is a beautiful setting for our first night. We are surrounded by gorgeous red rocks and we think that it is about 80-85 degrees with a slight breeze. We already took a walk around the area for about and hour and got the tent set up.
Just wondering if it will be a nice night or if we are going to freeze in the tent. We can't decide if we should put the rain flap on the tent or not. Just sitting around the camp for now and relaxing and listening to music.
Glad you got the first day under your belt. I would vote for putting the rain flap on. You know me, better safe than sorry. Don't forget to write in your journal Mikayla.:) Get some sleep tonight! The adventure has just begun. Love you both, Mom (Nana)
