Oh my god, this was absolutely amazing and so huge. Mikayla was a little bummed when I told her that this monument was not finished yet. But once we got there she understood why it wasn't done yet. The size of crazy horse is astounding. It is going to be magnificent once it is finally finished. I also never knew that the sculptor turned down to different offers to get federal funding for the project. He didn't think that the federal government would actually finish the project. He also wants the project to be funded by the people that want it. So all of the visitors are actually helping to keep the project going.

I really don't know when it will be finished because there is still so much to get done on the project. Spectacular site to see:)
